Chiltern is located in the centre of North East Victoria, 3 hours from Melbourne, just off the Hume Hwy, it is situated between Wangaratta and Wodonga. Albury and it’s airport are only a short 30 minute drive away.
Chiltern is 20 minutes away from the historic and tourist towns of Beechworth, Rutherglen, Yackandandah and Howlong.
The town is situated within the Chiltern-Mt Pilot National Park and also provides easy access to the Victorian Alps (including the ski fields of Mt Hotham and Falls Creek), and the Murray River.
